On bicycles and e-bikes with wider mudguards, the extending LATZ E-Plus Snap splash guard from FAHRER protects you from splash water, mud and stone chips, as the length of the wheel cover is usually not sufficient. Especially in windy, rainy weather, large wheels fling plenty of dirt from the road onto shoes and the lower trouser legs or even onto the motor. The FAHRER bicycle road splash protector extends the bottom of the front or rear mudguard so that the splash water is collected and diverted. In addition to protecting clothing and the drive when riding on wet surfaces, the LATZ S Snap also prevents thrown-up stones from damaging the frame’s paintwork.
Even at higher speeds and stiff headwinds, the flexible splash guard keeps its shape, which is why it is ideal for e-bikes and pedelecs with plus tyres. The spiffy, integrable mudguard extension is made of sturdy tarpaulin material and can be securely mounted or removed in a few simple steps to wheel mudguards with and without struts. To do this, stick the self-adhesive Velcro connector horizontally at the desired position on the mudguard to bring the LATZ into position. Attach the splash guard, then bend the ends of the stainless steel strip flat around the edges of the guard to the inside. Done! And when you approach the next puddle, you can leave your feet on the pedals…
